Why Hone asks you to sign in.
A Hone account is what lets your photos, streak and ratings survive a lost or replaced phone, and what your subscription is attached to. Create one with Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or an email address and password.
If you sign in with Google
Google shares your basic profile with Hone: your name, email address and profile picture. That is the whole list. Your email address is what creates and identifies your account and lets us contact you about your subscription. No other Google data is requested, your progress photos are never sent to Google, and your information is never sold or shared for advertising.
Where your photos live
Progress photos are written to your iPhone first and stay readable there. They back up privately to your own Hone account so a new phone can restore them, and only you can read them. You can delete your account, and everything backed up with it, from inside the app at any time. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.

No. Hone is a subscription app. Monthly and yearly plans are shown in the app before you subscribe, billed through your App Store account, and you can cancel anytime in your iPhone's subscription settings.
Progress photos are written to your iPhone first and stay readable there. They back up privately to your own Hone account so a new phone can restore them. Only you can read them. They are never sold, never used for ads, and never posted anywhere.
A visual estimate read from your photos: an overall 0–10 physique score and per-muscle-group ratings. It exists to make change visible between check-ins. It is not a body-fat measurement, a health metric, or medical advice.
Your basic Google profile: name, email address, and profile picture. The email address identifies your account. Nothing else is requested, and your photos are never sent to Google.
Not yet. Hone is built for iPhone first, since the capture guidance leans on iOS camera and vision frameworks. Android is on the list once the iPhone app is where we want it.
Cancel anytime from your App Store subscription settings. Deleting your account, and everything backed up with it, is one button inside the app's settings.
